MANISTEE CO. -- A fire destroyed a barn on Schoedel Road off of M-22 in Manistee County this morning.

The fire took place after 8:00 this morning and fully engulfed the barn.

The barn was a winter storage barn which held mostly equipment and was completely destroyed.

An investigation into the cause is still ongoing but 7&4 News is told there was not hay involved.
