TRAVERSE CITY -- In the 7&4 Storm Team Forecast Center, we are frequently asked a variety of questions from viewers, with most as you would expect dealing with the weather. Still, we oftentimes get questions posed to us that have nothing to do with weather but deal with nature, including this one which was in my e-mail inbox Thursday, October 9th, 2008. Basically, Christine of Traverse City was outside and found these interesting looking fall mushrooms growing in her yard. Not knowing what type they are, she asked if our viewers could perhaps shed some light on what type of mushrooms they are. I have attached a couple pictures that Christine sent along for you to take a look at . Any help from our viewers would be appreciated.
