Woman faces multiple felony charges in 43-animal abuse case

MONTMORENCY CO. -- An arrest has been made in the Montmorency County animal abuse care.

35-year-old Jennifer Elen Tucker-Richard was arrested as a result of the investigation that removed 37 dogs and 6 miniature horses from her home on Farrier Road.

Tucker-Richard turned herself in at the Montmorency County Jail after being notified of the warrant earlier in the day.

She is charged with two counts of abandonment and cruelty to 10 or more animals and one count of killing and torturing animals. All three counts are four-year felonies.

Tucker-Richard will be in court on Friday, February 15.
