Low pressure forming in the plains will cross through Michigan on Monday, bringing in first a warm-up, and then cooling us right back down.

Although many like the break from the cold, warmer temperatures also bring hazardous road conditions - and you'll want to give yourself extra time for your commute Monday and Tuesday mornings.

Sunday afternoon we'll see a pick up in the snow, and overnight most will pick up 1-3" of accumulation. For the northernmost counties, especially north of M-32, you're looking at mainly all snow. Elsewhere, more of a mix, and ice is more likely for you Monday morning.

There's a winter weather advisory in effect for Mason, Lake, Osceola, Clare, Oceana, Newaygo, Mecosta, Isabella counties from 4pm Sunday to 1pm Monday due to the icy road conditions expected.

We keep rain (some mix for the northernmost counties) in the forecast for Monday, and as temps hover around the freezing mark Monday night, may have more freezing rain to deal with on your Tuesday commute.

Give yourself extra time and take it slow out there!
