32 year-old woman arrested, facing homicide charges

CLARE COUNTY -- A 68 year-old Harrison man is dead after authorities say he was shot by a 32 year-old woman in Clare County.

Clare County Sheriff's Deputies were called to a home on Huckleberry Trail, just south of M-61 in Redding Township in Clare County, at around 5:30pm Friday night, on reports of a dead body. Authorities got to the scene and found a 68 year-old man dead inside, he had been killed by a single gun shot.

Witness reports led them to a suspect's house in Remus, where they found the vehicle believed to have been involved in the crime.

Rhey arrested the 32 year-old woman, who is currently in the Clare County Jail. She will be formally charged and arraigned in the 80th District Court.

The victim and the suspect's names have not yet been released.
