GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, MI -- More than 400 cherry trees have been cut down and destroyed at Legacy Orchards.

The Grand Traverse County Farm, which sits directly of M-72, is owned by Mike Kroupa. He said he was devastated to find this malicious attack.

"Kind of devastating...you got so much time and effort into it....these trees that were cut down are about six years old...the value of just the trees alone is about $4,500," Kroupa said.

The vandalism was reported to deputies on Wednesday. They are now looking for any information leading to the suspects. Area farmers are also helping. They have posted a $10,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest in this case.
