UPDATE: The driver in the crash on US-31 Tuesday has been identified as George Jorkasky of Traverse City. Police have yet to decide if charges or citations will be issued.

Update Monday 4:30am: U.S. 31 in Grand Traverse County is back open Monday morning. The highway was closed after a car involved in a chase crashed into a utility pole.
