    Friday, February 01, 2013  Hundreds of people from all over the country and the world hit the slopes at Shanty Creek Resorts this week for the annual "Ski for Light International Week" event.Ski for Light is an all volunteer, non-profit organization that teaches blind, visually and mobility impaired adults how to cross country ski.

  • Tuesday, January 06, 2009  Fire crews faced a potentially hazardous situation after a storage shed at a Northern Michigan ski resort burned to the ground. The shed stored more than a million dollars in golf maintanence materials, including fertilizers.
