Tuesday, September 22, 2009  Most people are buying their Halloween pumpkins this time of the year but a nationwide shortage has local growers worried they could take financial losses.  Owners of a farm market in Leelanau County harvested their pumpkins this past weekend.  They say there are still some left in the fields that are continuing to ripen, but overall numbers are down.
