Lions introduce 1st-round picks: Suh and Best

ALLEN PARK, MI (AP) --
      ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) - Ndamukong Suh (en-DAHM'-eh-ken SOO')
says being a trendsetter allows him to ignore the Detroit Lions'
long history of losing.
      The Lions gave the Nebraska defensive tackle his No. 90 blue and
silver jersey on Friday night, a day after taking him second
overall in the NFL draft.
      They also presented California running back Jahvid Best with a
No. 44 jersey before introducing him at a news conference.
      Best says it will be "something special" if he and Suh can
help turn around the Lions.
      The franchise has won only one playoff game since winning the
1957 NFL title, had the league's first 0-16 season two years ago
and earned just two victories last season.
