West leads Hornets to 95-87 win over Pistons

NEW ORLEANS (AP) --
NEW ORLEANS (AP) - David West had a season-high 32 points and 12
rebounds, helping the New Orleans Hornets overcome a 16-point
deficit and beat the Detroit Pistons 95-87 on Wednesday night.
Chris Paul scored 14 of his 16 points in the second half and
added 12 assist for New Orleans, which snapped a two-game losing
streak while handing Detroit its second-straight loss. Emeka Okafor
had 15 points and West scored 18 points during the Hornets'
second-half comeback.
Rodney Stuckey scored 26 points to lead the Pistons, who were
without starter Richard Hamilton because of a sore right hamstring.
Chucky Atkins started in Hamilton's spot and scored 13 points.
Charlie Villanueva added 18 points for Detroit.
