10k free tickets to MAC championship to be donated

DETROIT (AP) --       DETROIT (AP) - Members of the military and the United Auto
Workers, as well as Michigan's unemployed, have a chance to attend
the Mid-American Conference championship game at Ford Field for
free.
      A total of 10,000 free tickets to the Dec. 4 game will be
distributed on Nov. 21 at the Detroit stadium. Anyone with a UAW
badge, military identification card or Michigan unemployment
benefit card can collect two free tickets each while supplies last.
      In addition, some 2,500 tickets have been distributed free to
Detroit-area youth and charitable organizations.
      Tickets to the game are priced at $10, $15 or $20. Ford Field is
home to the NFL's Detroit Lions.
