GREEN BAY, WISC. -- It was a wild shootout between NFC North rivals on the frozentundra of Lambeau Field.
The Packers rested star quarterback Aaron Rodgers and some other starters for the upcoming playoffs but still came away with a 45-41 victory over visiting Detroit on a cold, and windy day in Green Bay. Backup QB Matt Flynn set franchise records with six TD passes and 480 passing yards while helping the Pack to their 15th win in 16 games.
Lions QB Matthew Stafford threw for 520 yards with five touchdowns and two interceptions. Playoff-bound Detroit finishes 6-10 and has now lost 21 straight road games to the Packers.
