SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - Detroit Lions quarterback Drew Stanton
and his High 5ive Foundation are set to host a fundraising dinner.
Proceeds from Monday evening's event at Pizzeria Biga in
Southfield are to benefit a holiday shopping night High 5ive is
planning for the children and families of Orchards Children's
Services.
Several of Stanton's teammates are scheduled to attend,
including quarterback Matthew Stafford and wide receiver Calvin
Johnson.
A year ago, Stanton teamed with Lions wide receiver Nate
Burleson to take 100 kids on a holiday shopping spree. They hope to
do the same this year.
Individual tickets for the Pizzeria Biga dinner are $65, or $200
for a table of four.
