Iginla scores 2, Flames beat Detroit 4-1

      DETROIT - Jarome Iginla scored twice on similar one-timers,
and the Calgary Flames beat the slumping Detroit Red Wings 4-1 on
Thursday night.
      Detroit has lost six straight (0-5-1) after winning its first
five. The Red Wings held Calgary to 22 shots managed only Danny
Cleary's second-period goal off a strange bounce.
      Lee Stempniak scored in the first period for the Flames, and
Olli Jokinen added an empty-net goal off an assist from Iginla.
Miikka Kiprusoff made 28 saves.
      Detroit has scored six goals in its last six games. The Red
Wings were held under 31 shots for the first time this season.
