ALLEN PARK, Mich. - Detroit Lions running back Jahvid Best
has missed a second straight practice because of a concussion.
Lions coach Jim Schwartz says Best is doing well and expects him
back soon.
Best was knocked out of Friday's preseason game against the
Cleveland Browns and didn't return after he had a headache.
The Lions are already without backup running backs Mikel
Leshoure and Maurice Morris because of injuries.
Stefan Logan seemed to get more chances to run out of the
backfield Monday. He took advantage, breaking at least one run for
a long gain.
The special teams star and backup receiver ran 15 times for 95
yards last season in Detroit. Logan says he feels comfortable at
running back, the position he played at South Dakota and in CFL.
