DETROIT - The Detroit Red Wings are done and the questions
have already started.
Detroit's 20th straight postseason ended Thursday night in San
Jose, eliminated by the Sharks in the second round for the second
straight year.
The Red Wings became the eighth team to force a Game 7 after
going down 3-0, but couldn't become the fourth franchise in NHL
history to win such a series. They flew home Friday morning.
Defenseman Nicklas Lidstrom says he plans to take his time
before deciding whether to return for a 20th season in Detroit. Red
Wings forward and fellow Swede Henrik Zetterberg says Lidstrom
still has a lot of hockey left to play.
