Michigan State to open football season on a Friday

      EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State will open its next
football season on a Friday night.
      The Spartans announced Thursday that their game against
Youngstown State has been moved from Sept. 3 to Sept. 2. It will be
played at night - only the 10th night game in the history of
Spartan Stadium.
      The game will be aired by the Big Ten Network.
