EAST LANSING, MI (AP) --
EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) - Something has to give when
18th-ranked Michigan hosts 17th-ranked Michigan State in a matchup
of unbeaten teams in Ann Arbor.
If the Spartans want to emerge Saturday with a third straight
victory over the Wolverines, they'll have to do what nobody else
has been able to.
They'll have to contain Denard Robinson, the Michigan
quarterback whose electrifying runs have given a much-needed boost
to the Wolverines' offense.
Michigan State has already faced Notre Dame's no-huddle and
Wisconsin's bruising running game, but this will be an entirely
different challenge. The Spartans will need all 11 players to do
their jobs - or risk being the latest team to end up on a highlight
film of one of Robinson's long runs.
