EAST LANSING, MI (AP) --       EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) - Detroit Red Wings forwards Justin
Abdelkader and Drew Miller are to join a number of ex-Spartans for
a charity skate at Michigan State's ice arena to raise money for
the fight against pediatric cancer.
The second annual "Skate with the Pros" event is scheduled for
Wednesday evening at Munn Ice Arena in East Lansing.
Admission is $10 per person, and the money collected is going to
Sparrow Hospital's "Cure Kids Cancer" program and to the
Brandon's Defense Foundation.
Organizers have set aside 45 minutes for fans to skate with the
ex-Spartans, and an autograph session is to take place afterward.
