ANN ARBOR, MI (AP) --
ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) - Michigan men's basketball coach John
Beilein says redshirt-junior guard Laval Lucas-Perry has been
kicked off the team.
Beilein says Lucas-Perry violated "team standards" but didn't
elaborate in announcing his dismissal Wednesday. He says the
ex-player will keep his scholarship so he can graduate in May 2011.
Lucas-Perry transferred from Arizona halfway through his
freshman season and played 58 games with the Wolverines, averaging
5.6 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.4 assist per game.
At Flint Powers Catholic High School, Lucas-Perry was an
Associated Press Class B All-State player in 2007 and 2006 and
earned special mention in 2005.
