ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) - Michigan quarterback Tate Forcier
(FOR'-see-ay) was able to run and throw Thursday, according to a
broadcast of the practice by WTKA radio.
The Detroit News reported Wednesday that Forcier had a sprained
ankle after the campus newspaper, The Michigan Daily, reported
Forcier walked to a class on crutches.
Forcier started last season as a freshman. He is competing
against sophomore Denard Robinson and freshman Devin Gardner for
the starting job this fall.
The Wolverines' spring game will be Saturday afternoon at
Michigan Stadium.
