ANN ARBOR, MI (AP) --
ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) - Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez says his
players will be "juiced up to play" Penn State this week because
they know how important the game is for its season.
The Wolverines (5-2, 1-2 Big Ten) would qualify for a bowl with
an upset victory against the 13th-ranked Nittany Lions (6-1, 2-1)
Saturday at the Big House.
College football's winningest program wasn't close to being
eligible for the postseason last year, losing a school-record nine
games. They failed to be bowl-eligible for the first time in
three-plus decades.
Linebacker Stevie Brown says the Wolverines think they can earn
a spot in the Rose Bowl if they win the rest of their games.
