Beal City's season ends in defeat at Ford Field

DETROIT -- The Beal City Aggies saw their season end in defeat in the Division 8 State Championship Friday morning.

Beat City took on the Harbor Beach Pirates at 10 am on Friday morning at Ford Field.

The Pirates had control from the beginning, outscoring the Aggies 14-0 in the first quarter, and 14-3 in the second. The Aggies did not see the end zone until the middle of the 3rd quarter when Ty Rollin had an 11 yard run in for the score.

Quarterback Sam Schater was 10 of 28 passing for 168 yards and 2 interceptions.

This was Beal City's first loss of the season.
