ISABELLA CO. (AP) -- A race car is destroyed and a barn damaged after a gas tank exploded in Isabella County.
A crew was working on the car inside the Isabella Township barn when it exploded, sparking the fire Wednesday night.
No serious injuries were reported.
Terry Fedewa is a welder who was among the crew taking parts off the car. He says no one noticed until it was too late that there was a leak in the gas tank.A vintage John Deere snowmobile inside the barn also was destroyed.
