ALPENA -- The Michigan State Police Alpena Post has received preliminary toxicology results for Travis A. Armstrong, the teen who was found in the middle of the road in Montmorency County.

While the state police will not comment on the amount of alcohol present, they are confirming that there was alcohol in Armstrong's system at the time of his death.

Armstrong's body was found on a rural road in the Atlanta area in the morning on March 2.

Police believe he attended a party at a friend's house the night before where alcohol was present.

The state police are still investigating whether or not drugs were being used.

Anyone with information about Armstrong's activities the night before his death, or the circumstances surrounding his death are asked to contact the Michigan State Police Alpena Post at (989) 354-4101.
