AKRON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - The Coast Guard has suspended its search for a man who disappeared after an airboat capsized on Saginaw Bay off Michigan's Thumb.

The Coast Guard says it got word about 7:50 p.m. Saturday that a boat with two people aboard overturned in the Lake Huron bay. The accident happened about five miles from Fish Point, which is southwest of Sebewaing in Tuscola County's Akron Township.

The Coast Guard says a helicopter and rescue boat got help from Tuscola and Huron County crews and pulled one man from the capsized boat.

It says a seven-hour search of the surrounding water and ice failed to locate the other man.
