A meth lab explosion led to the arrest of two people in Petoskey.

PETOSKEY, MI -- A meth lab explosion led to the arrest of two people in Petoskey.

Saturday evening, City of Petoskey Public Safety Department officials were called to the Harbor Village Family Apartments.

Inside, police said they located two men who had been badly burned by “extremely combustible components” used to make methamphetamine.

The suspects were taken to McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital for treatment.

Names are not being released at this time due to pending charges.

The incident is still under investigation.
