MASON COUNTY -- A Mason County man is dead after a fire ripped through his house early Sunday morning.
The Mason County Sheriff's Office tells 7&4 News that it happened around 2:30am Sunday morning at a house on the 5800 Block of East Hansen Road in Custer.
The 63 year-old man was the only one home at the time and did not survive the fire. Several emergency crews remained on scene Saturday morning to investigate what caused the blaze. Right now, they have not released a cause or the man's name.
