(AP) -- Michigan tackle Taylor Lewan says it's time for the team's offensive line to play mean, angry and a little nasty.

The 18th-ranked Wolverines probably won't face a defensive front seven as talented it did against top-ranked Alabama the rest of the season.

No. 11 Notre Dame, though, might come close Saturday night with its stout defensive line and swarming linebackers.

Michigan coach Brady Hoke says he's excited to see how far his offensive line has improved from the first game - when the Crimson Tide were dominant - to the upcoming fourth game against the Fighting Irish. The Wolverines have been pretty good in pass protection, but they've struggled to push lineman around or to get to linebackers consistently in the running game.
