While the Pilgrims were making their way on the fringe of the "New World", a tiny settlement was already laying down the foundations for it's future. Sault Ste. Marie can lay claim to being one of the oldest establishments in the Midwest. As you may imagine, it has a history that runs as strong as the river which has helped shaped it.
