MISSAUKEE CO. -- Lake City Middle School is in a lockdown situation after the school received what officials are calling a a "vague" written threat.
The Missaukee County Sheriff's Department confirms that the written bomb threat was found by a staff member after 10 am today.
All of the students were moved to a safe location.
A dog from the Osceola County Sheriff's Office and another from the Michigan State Police searched the school and no bomb was found.
The school says the superintendent did send a message to parents to alert them of the situation.
The building has been cleared and students were returned to class. The incident remains under investigation.
