CHARLEVOIX -- Storm team meteorologist, Joe Charlevoix visited Mrs. Phoebe Gohs' pre-school, kindergarten and 1st grade class at Northwest Academy in Charlevoix.  A viewer emailed the 7&4 newsroom and nominated the classroom to be featured in Classroom Salute during 7&4 News Today.

The viewer says the classroom involves hands on and interactive learning tools for the students.  The viewer says Mrs. Gohs has a special way of helping the students understand what she's teaching them and is a true example of how educators can impact students.
