MECOSTA TWP. -- The Michigan State Police are asking for your help in finding the driver who left the scene of a hit and run accident involving a 15-year-old girl in Mecosta County.

This all took place around 7 PM Thursday night on Stanwood Road near Pierce Road in Mecosta Township.

The 15-year-old was walking south down Stanwood when she was struck by a black pick-up truck that was also traveling south.  She was transported to Mecosta County Medical Center with non-life thretening injuries.
