KALKASKA CO. -- A 87-year-old Manistee woman died in a car crash on US-131 in Kalkaska County this morning.

Sheriff David Israel of Kalkaska County says Zimmerman pulled in front of northbound car on US-131 while trying to make a left turn from the parking lot of the Boardman Motel.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the second car had no injuries, but the passenger, 76-year-old Geraldine Gerred was taken to Kalkaska Memorial Hospital for injuries.
