ROLLAND TOWNSHIP -- A 40-year-old Blanchard man was arrested twice this past weekend in Isabella County for aggravated stalking amongst other charges.
This stems from an investigation that began on Friday, in which the suspect's mother and father reported that their son had entered their home and threatened and assaulted their mother. The suspect also broke a window in the home, made malicious phone calls throughout the day and threatened to shoot his mother with an AK-47 after he obtained the weapon. He was first arrested on Saturday.
A complaint warrant was forwarded to the Isabella County Prosecutor's Office with authorized charges of Home Invasion 1st, malicious destruction of property, domestic assault and malicious use of the phone. The suspect was arrested by troopers at the Isabella County Sheriff's Department.
He later got out on bond but made repeated threats to his family over the weekend. After his release, the suspect made threatening phone calls to his aunt. He threatened again, to shoot his mother with a gun he was planning on acquiring or run his vehicle into their house.
The suspect also made the statement he would wait until Christmas when the family was all together to take care of them all at once.
A new search warrant led to his second arrest shortly after midnight Monday morning at his home. He was transported and lodged at the Isabella County Jail. No other firearms were found in his posession after a search of his residence was conducted.
Due to his violations, the suspect should be held until his appearance before a judge or magistrate.
