TRAVERSE CITY -- Former Traverse City Light and Power Executive Director Ed Rice has filed notice with the City and the TCLP board to preserve and pursue claims following his termination in October.

The document states the City and the Board are responsible for breach of contract, personal injury and damages caused by the termination.

Rice's attorney says this step is required by the City Charter and that the matter could end up in court.
