TRAVERSE CITY -- The charges against the suspect in the TART trail attack have been dropped.

The Grand Traverse County Prosecutor's Office tell 7&4 News that the charges against David Walter were dropped because he had an alibi.

The investigation will continue into who attacked the woman on the Boardman Lake Trail.
