MT. PLEASANT -- A 25 year-old Mount Pleasant man is behind bars Saturday, accused of stabbing and killing a man on Saturday morning.

Mount Pleasant Police tell 7&4 News that it happened around 4:30am Saturday morning at an apartment complex located on the 100 Block of South Main Street.

Authorities arrived on the scene to find 20 year-old Tyrone Stanley suffering from a knife wound. He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A 25 year-old man has been arrested for the stabbing and is currently being held at the Isabella County Jail.

The incident remains under investigation.
