A Mount Pleasant man is in the hospital in critical condition after his car collided with a farm tractor.  The accident happened in Isabella County's Denver Township on Summerton Road near Beal City Road around 11:30 Friday night.

The Michigan State Police Mount Pleasant Post, tells 7&4 News that a farm tractor was traveling from one field to another on a dirty roadway, when a driver collided head-on with the implement the tractor was pulling.  The jaws of life were used to pull the 67-year old driver from his vehicle and he was then air lifted to Spectrum-Butterworth hospital in Grand Rapids.

The accident remains under investigation.
