As promised, here is the picture of our newly revamped wooden bench.

I made new pillows with a really cool fabric I found at Jo-Ann Fabrics.

We bought a new board, foam cushion, quilt batting, and fabric for the seat of the bench as well.

We used black/brown spray paint to paint the bench and give it a more modern look.  

The bench looks great in our living room and is quite comfortable.

It's amazing what you can do with curbside furniture when you use your imagination.

We plan to tackle the other old bench that is pictured as soon as we can decide on the fabric we want.

This week I am turning old shutters into wall art.
