NEWAYGO COUNTY -- Some boaters in Newaygo County are safe after some scary moments on the Muskegon River.

A boat overturned with the four on board around 10:30pm Tuesday near Bridgeton. Three of the boaters were able to swim to shore safely, but a woman was not able to make it to shore and floated downstream.  She was rescued about half an hour later.

No injuries were reported.
