NEWBERRY -- Victims of the Duck Lake wildfire can apply for financial recovery assistance.

The Department of Natural Resources have scheduled a meeting for Tuesday night to assist victims with applying for financial assistance.

The DNR has already sent more than 130 personal invitations to landowners affected by the fire. Landowners who are seeking financial assistance or advice are encouraged to attend.

The meeting will be held at 6:30 pm on Tuesday at the McMillan Township Hall in Newberry.
