BOYNE CITY -- We had a double salute today from Boyne City Middle School!

Kicked things off with Ms. Sharp's 8th grade science class- they were learning about how the choices you make, even little ones, effect the environment. They also incorporated what you could choose to spend money on and the cost effectiveness from these decisions. For example, they discussed solar panels-the cost of installing them vs their benefit.

From there we headed into Mr. Bergquist's 8th grade math class. The students began with a math warm up and collected homework before taking a quiz. They were learning about data and statistics, finding the mean, median, mode, etc.

7&4 had a great time visiting both of these classes! Hopefully you're having a fantastic Friday and a wonderful start to your summer! We salute you!
