TRAVERSE CITY -- Four-time Stanley Cup Champion Tomas Holmstrom has been named the Grand Marshall of the DTE Energy Cherry Royale Parade.

The Red Wing, who is known as the "Homer", will be leading the parade on July 14th.

Holmstrom was drafted by the Red Wings in 1994, and has played with them since 1996. On February 12, 2012, Holmstrom became just the sixth Red Wing to play 1,000 games.
