TRAVERSE CITY -- Do you ever wonder if pets grieve the loss of another pet?  It's a question pet owners might wonder.  That's why Dr. Jen Klabunde with Northwood Animal Hospital in Grand Traverse County talked about this topic during Pet Talk.  Dr. Klabunde says there are specific signs to look out for if you think your pet is grieving.

Signs your pet is grieving:

• Lethargy
• Behavior changes
• Inappetance
• Some even develop illnesses

What to do:

• Positive training
• Pay more attention to him/her (take them on more outings)
• Create special, daily rituals for the pet
