TRAVERSE CITY -- Traverse City was home to the first ever "Go Global International Fair and Expo" Sunday afternoon.

Hosted by Northwestern Michigan College and Traverse City Public Schools, the expo showcased international learning opportunities that are available in the area.

Families could check out everything from travel and language clubs, to study aboard opportunities in the Grand Traverse Area.

Organizers say the expo is also a great way to meet members of Traverse City's international community.
