The Mason-Lake-Oceana Great Start Collaborative offers free playgroups to children ages 0-5 in all three counties. Funding for the playgroups comes from the Great Start Great Parents Grant through the Michigan Department of Education.

Playgroups give children the opportunity to learn, grow, and play while participating in developmentally appropriate activities. Playgroup is designed to build on the strengths of families as we share creative ways to encourage children to build their skills. Parents will have time to meet and talk to other parents.

Mason County
-MCE, Early Childhood Center, Fridays from 10-11 am
-MCC, Victory ECC, Fridays from 10:30-11:30 am
-Ludington, Pere Marquette ECC, Fridays from 10:30-11:30 am

Oceana County
-Pentwater, Preschool Room, Mondays from 12-1 pm
-Hart, Diman-Wolf ECC, Fridays from 9-10 am
-Shelby, Shelby ECC, Fridays from 10-11 am
-Walkerville, Elementary, Fridays from 10-11 am

Lake County
-Baldwin, Elementary Portable, Mondays from 5-6 pm
