ISABELLA COUNTY -- Homeowners in Mount Pleasant got a big shock this morning after waking up and finding a complete stranger on their couch.

The Isabella County Sheriffs Department says 30 year old Jesse Raymond Gross was arrested after Illegally entering a house on the 5-thousand block of Whiteville Road in Union Township

Deputies say Gross told the homeowners he entered the house because he was wet and cold after crashing his car in Peas Lake in Union Township.

Deputies arrested Gross for illegal entry and possession of Marijuana.
