TRAVERSE CITY -- You have the chance to give a needy child a holiday gift that they will definitely treasure this season.

Now in it's 8th year,  the "Bikes for Tykes" drive is asking community members to step up and donate a new bike or a cash donation -- which goes directly to Toys For Tots.

Volunteers were Saturday afternoon putting together some of the bikes collected so far this season. Organizers say right now they have about 150 bikes -- but would like to bring in even more.
